It's been over a week since Lou appointed Mary producer of the six o'clock news, but she hasn't been feeling very producer-like since Lou still seems to be running the show and everyone still looks to him for the answers. He feels that Mary may run into some problems from his vantage point. But after all is said and done, Mary feels like she did a great job, but still needs the validation from her executive producer.
